Terms of Service

You need an account to make videos. Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16, and one person may have one account. Accounts created to collect extra referral credits may be closed.

Making and editing videos uses credits, which come with a plan. Today a new video uses 10 credits (15 for Premium, 30 for Signature, 120 for Story, 80 for Showcase, 50 for Exceptional), an edit 1 (plus 3 for each new generated shot it needs, 5 in a Story video), an energy switch 1, and exporting the MP4 comes with every plan. The studio shows the cost before you act.

• Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or sold, and aren't refundable for money.
• If a first video fails to generate, its credits are returned automatically. Credits spent on edits that completed are not returned.
• We may change credit prices for future actions, and we'll show current prices in the studio.
• Starter guarantee: if you don't love the first video you make with a Starter pack ($19), tell us within 14 days and we refund the pack in full.

You can buy more credits on the pricing page. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which sells the plans to you as our merchant of record and adds taxes where they apply. Your card details go to Dodo Payments, never to us.

• The Launch Pack is a one-time purchase: you pay once and its credits are added to your account.
• Creator and Pro are monthly plans. They renew every month at the price shown when you subscribed, and each renewal adds the plan's credits, until you cancel.
• You can cancel a monthly plan at any time from Billing in the studio. Cancelling stops future renewals; the month you paid for runs to its end, and credits already on your account stay.
• Credits you buy don't expire while your account is open.

You keep ownership of your brief, your website content, your logo and anything else you provide. You give us permission to use it only to make, store, show and export your videos, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

Only submit websites and content you own or are allowed to use. You're responsible for having the rights to the names, logos, product claims and brand elements in your videos.

Subject to these terms and to your rights in your own content, you may use the videos you make with Klapt for any lawful purpose, including commercial use: posting, advertising and embedding them.

Videos are generated by AI. They can contain mistakes: wrong claims, odd visuals, mispronounced words, or elements that resemble existing material. Review every video before you publish it; you're responsible for what you publish. Because generated output isn't unique, others may receive similar results.

Don't use Klapt to:

• make content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or that harasses anyone;
• impersonate a person or company, or promote a product you have no right to represent;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• scrape, attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or get around credits and limits.

We may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Klapt is new and changes often. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Klapt is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, Klapt is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.

You can stop using Klapt at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@klapt.ai. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Download any videos you want to keep before your account is deleted.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell signed-in users; continuing to use Klapt after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: contact@klapt.ai.
